This website was created by a grade 7 class at Nanjing International school, China.  In grade 7, we have an unit where the students become the teachers and teach their classmates about Measurement. We then split into 4 different main groups chosen by our teacher. In these 4 groups we worked on putting the website we have produced together, other groups worked on producing quality study notes, real world applications of measurement and higher level problem solving.  We were then split into 5 teaching groups; pink, red, blue, green and orange. Each group taught about different parts of measurement. Topics include accuracy of measurement, estimation and approximation in measurement, error, perimeter, circumference, area of rectangles and triangles, area of a parallelogram, area of a circle, area of trapezium, composite shapes, total surface area, volume of prism and other shapes. Everyone taught like a real teacher and everyone learned a lot from each other.
